Our studio focuses on the creation of original, authentic art glass and experiences. We’ve created this page in alignment with that mission.
Gallery Sales
Our sales are non-refundable, however, in certain instances, we may be able to offer an exchange. Please contact the studio to discuss.
Custom Art
50% deposit is required to proceed and becomes non-refundable 72 hrs after receipt. Unless otherwise noted commissions have a 12 week lead time; if necessary we offer faster completion for a 30% rush fee. Chandeliers and highly artistic creations require more time. For the best, most artistic results, please contact us as soon as possible.
The nature of blown glass is organic and accordingly, we can only guarantee that the resulting pieces are in-line with the artistic intent of your commission. We cannot guarantee exact color matches, perfect symmetry, or identical sets. We are committed to making quality, original, hand-crafted art.
We often quote you a price range as an estimate for your commission, this is to recognize that we are not creating widgets in an assembly line but rather our artists are hand creating custom art glass for you. If scope changes occur, the estimate will be revised accordingly.
Studio Classes & Events
Payments & Cancellations
We require advance booking and payment for our events and while refunds aren’t available, your event is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Events canceled with less than 48hrs notice are subject to a $100 cancellation fee and no-call no-shows forfeit their purchase.
Availability
We can host your event any day of the week, depending on studio and artist availability. Events that start or finish beyond the hours of 1pm to 9pm are subject to a surcharge of $100 for each hour outside of our standard operating times.
Event Expectations
Our events focus on the experience of working with hot glass not the result of glass art. There are no guarantees that your piece(s) will come out as you intend and it is possible that your piece(s) may not survive the creation and annealing process and while this is rare, it is still a valid experience in the art form. If possible (and it usually is) our instructors will salvage or help make you a new piece so you’ll still have a memento of your experience.
Participation
Glass blowing is a full body sport, and our events are very hands-on. The minimum age to fully participate varies by class. Participants under the age of 18 may participate in full or limited capacity as detailed in each activity offering.
Waivers
All participants, and for minors – their legal guardians, must sign our liability release to be eligible to participate in our events.
Attire
Please wear closed toed shoes and comfortable non-synthetic clothing. Avoid overly loose or baggy clothing and accessories. Those with long hair will probably want to tie it back. Shorts or pants, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes are common attire in the studio.
Picking up your Piece(s)
Hot glass art requires 18-24 hrs to cool and cannot be taken with you at completion of your event. Your pieces will typically be available for pickup two business days after your event or we can ship them starting at $20 per piece. Pieces left over 30 days become property of the studio.
Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in our prices, but is greatly appreciated by our artists if you enjoyed your glass blowing experience!
